When Should You Do The Dishes?

How do you know when it's seriously time to do the dishes? Maybe when you're eating your cereal out of a small casserole dish because you used the last clean tupperware bowl yesterday...

How can you be sure that you put the dishes off too long this time? Well... it's been too long if you have to pry a bowl off of your counter top using both hands.

But not me. I did not loose control of my house last week.

Nope.

Ha! We were SO meant to find each other! I just got my first load in the dishwasher. Yep daddy had to take kids to McDonalds on the way to school because not only were ther no clean dishes, but there was no bread or milk for any kind of weekday breakfast - since I didn't grocery shop last week either!

I try to get it done before bed, but too often my kitchen looks like yours :)

My kitchen looked pretty similar to that too. I also had dirty dished in the dishwasher that I hadnt turned on so I ended up doing 3 loads of dishes. Just remember you arent the only one:)

Look at your honest readers above!! Woo Hoo! We can do this together. Try to get the dishes done at night and give yourself a treat by having a shiny sink in the morning. (Doesn't always happen- but if I force myself- so happy in the morning to see it shining at me.) I learned this over at Flylady.com.
Even though the rest of the house is a disaster, at least one thing is clean. One step at a time to change- right?

Cracked up at the need to have to pry the bowl off the counter. It happens in other households, too. :)
