Tuesdays Unwrapped

I am joining Chatting at the Sky with Tuesdays Unwrapped. It's about "what is real and true this day: the messy, the lovely, and the unexpected". So I'm sharing what's going on with us today... the truth :-)

This is what our entry hall looks like right now.

And this is the current condition of our kitchen.
And here is the living room I'm currently sitting in.
However, it is an absolutely beautiful day outside! The nicest in quite awhile. So rather than beating myself up about the mess around here, I took my kids out to the farm to enjoy God's beautiful day, see some baby pigs, pet some goats, and have a picnic! :-)

Yes, that is my adorable daughter in the little purple rain boots. We had a fantastic morning!

Check back tomorrow if you were looking for a post about my "super" cleaning skills ;-) I'm going to clean tonight while my husband is at fire school. You guys knew my husband is becoming a firefighter, right???

Yay for firefighters! Love those guys!

You're such a good mama! I think I'll take the kids to the park, so I don't have to sit here and look at my messy house!

Good for you-don't waste the sunshine!

I love the pic of your daughter walking up the drive--ohhh I love the country- grew up in it.

Your house looks JUST like mine!

It only gets messy again as soon as you tidy it. As my lovely Mum always says to me, 'children never remember a tidy house, they only remember the fun things you do with them'. Wise words x x

A day at the farm sounds like fun! You'll get to the mess- but a day with piggies and kiddos- priceless!

Great post! These photos are priceless...and look strangely familiar to me. The boppy in the floor is my favorite! I'm so glad you chose to ignore that mess and ventured outside on that beautiful day with that beautiful girl! Thank you for joining me in unwrapping your Tuesday!

Hey, how did you get into my house to take photos?!?! We must have been outside enjoying the lovely weather at a park while you snuck in.
