Table Transformation

We've been needing a coffee table for awhile now, but I hadn't ever found exactly what I was looking for. Then I realized that a table I loved was already sitting in my own living room! Check it out!
This was our dining room table last year when we lived in a very small apartment. I got it along with 4 matching chairs at a yard sale for $20! So my handy husband removed the wings...pulled out the plastic plugs...
cut the legs to our desired height...
then replaced the plastic plugs!
Voila! Coffee table!
I'm very excited! And the best part is, it's cuter than it's ever been before! When the leaves were on it, you couldn't see the adorable iron detail. Plus, it was useless to us as a tall table, and had already been marked for the next Goodwill run! I love it!

I've linked this extreme furniture makeover up at Kendra's party! :-)

A re-do that's *better* than the original "do"; Don't you just LUV it when that happens?! Great job!!

How fun to take something that was headed out the door and instead remake it into something better. It looks really good!

There use to be a show on lifetime that I liked that did this. The inspiration is in my mind but never manages to make it into real life lol. Anywho I think this was a wonderful idea and looks great. Way to put a plan into motion!
